Jaleesa (@jaleesajaikaran) moved from Trinidad to New York to get her start in the fashion and makeup industry. Being in an elitist environment, the Caribbean-native wanted to create a community that was authentic and welcoming to all walks of life. From that, The Life Of a Makeup Artist was created. Now with the largest beauty community on Clubhouse and thousands of followers across social media, Jaleesa continues to strive to build a community that highlights the many perspectives within the influencer space.
